Robert J. Robinson

Ph. D. , LMFT

Rob is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Clinical Fellow in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and the founder of Family Care Counseling Associates, Inc., one of the largest privately owned and operated mental health organizations in Western Massachusetts. Rob has extensive training in couples therapy and has completed Level 1 and Level 2 Clinical Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Rob is also a graduate of the Eckhart Tolle School of Awakening and integrates the transformational dimension of spirituality in much of his work with clients. Rob works with adults, couples, and families in his practice and also serves as a wellness consultant with Health401k. Martha E. Woodard

Psy. D

Dr. Woodard is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and has been in private practice for over 25 years. Dr. Woodard works primarily with adults who struggle with issues related to anxiety and depression, Martha utilizes both cognitive behavioral therapy and insight oriented approaches in her work with people and strongly believes in the strength, capability, and potential growth in each person.

Rebecca Kertenis

M.Ed, LMFT

Rebecca is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been in private practice at Family Care Counseling Associates for over 15 years. Rebecca works with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, and couples therapy.

Christina Althen

LMHC

Christina is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience. Christina works with children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles and other life challenges. She uses a variety of approaches for assisting clients to reach their goals in therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Christina completed an extensive certificate training course on treating Perinatal Mood Disorders through Postpartum Support International. Christina offers support to woman and men who are struggling with infertility, prenatal and/or postpartum mental health issues.

Tamie Kelsey-West

Tamie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. Tamie has a collaborative approach to supporting individuals, couples, and families as they face the challenges of anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, relationship difficulties and family dynamics.

Betsy Gray

LMHC

Betsy has practiced as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for the past 20 years as a Crisis Clinician, Program  Director for a clinic and now in private practice. Betsy works with people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, bipolar and gender issues. Betsy also provides counseling to couples and families to improve communication, manage conflict, and create stronger relationships.

Renee Bracey

LMHC

Renee is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience providing multicultural counseling to children and families. She specializes in the treatment of developmental trauma, attachment, ADHD and mood disorders. Renee utilizes  a variety of evidenced based treatment modalities including; therapeutic play, cognitive behavioral therapy,  dialectical behavioral therapy and neurofeedback. As a neurofeedback practitioner, Renee uses this cutting edge intervention to improve her client’s brain functioning and reduce symptoms related to depression, anxiety, ADHD and trauma.
Neurofeedback is also called EEG biofeedback or neurotherapy. It focuses on optimizing brain functioning by teaching the brain to better self-regulate and function more efficiently and effectively. It has also been used to enhance cognitive and athletic performance by reducing anxiety, managing stress, and improving focus and attention.

Erin Hervieux

Erin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10-years of experience in crisis counseling and has spent the last 6-years providing counseling to individuals in the field of organ and tissue donation. As a therapist, Erin specializes in the treatment of trauma, grief, traumatic loss, as well as end of life care and coping with terminal illness.

Kevin Garvey

Kevin spent much of his career in child protection where he worked with children, adolescents and adults, encountering a broad variety of client life stressors including trauma, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders.  Since then Kevin has focused on individual, couples and family therapy and has lately worked with patients who live with psychosis.  He favors a cognitive-behavioral approach and always looks for new ways to be of value to his clients.

Josh Bates

Josh has over 15-years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families in a variety of settings. He has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma and conflict resolution. Josh uses his skills from past jobs with DCF, psychiatric crisis, and in several emergency departments to help people identify impactful life stressors and events and work through them to achieve positive outcomes.

Katrin Rouse Weir

Ed.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Rouse Weir has 28+ years of experience in the field of psychology and mental health. She has worked in outpatient and inpatient settings, with adolescents and adults, throughout the life cycle. She has experience with addiction, sexual disorders, psychosis, developmental disabilities, personality disorders, diagnostic issues, trauma, as well as aging, depression, anxiety and partnership issues. She has experience with correctional settings, juveniles and adult offenders as well. She has conducted evaluations for educational, forensic and other settings. She has 25+ years of evaluating / addressing forensic mental health issues. Dr. Rouse Weir also conducts a variety of clinical evaluations.

Ryan Travis Woods

Ryan Travis Woods is a veteran personal trainer, private Pilates instructor, and licensed massage therapist with over two decades of experience. Ryan lives by the core principle that a “rising tide lifts all boats” and finds multidisciplinary collaborations truly energizing when it comes to supporting clients. Ryan has a deep level of respect, gratitude, and admiration for licensed mental health professionals and feels honored to be on the FCCA team. Ryan hopes that he can support the effort of the Family Care Counseling Associates clinical team by further helping patients unlock the internal parking brake either before or after their therapy sessions. There is a vast amount of research on the power of human touch and the impact of classic Swedish massage on generalized anxiety disorder, depression, and idiopathic pain syndromes.
